Infosys Limited INFY to Open Technology and Innovation Hub in Raleigh, North Carolina

Infosys Limited INFY is set to open its North Carolina Technology and Innovation Hub in Raleigh, aiming to drive innovation and create new job opportunities for the tech workforce in the United States. The hub will focus on cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, advanced analytics, and machine learning.

With plans to hire nearly 10,000 employees over the next two years, Infosys aims to boost Raleigh’s technology-based economy. The company will also collaborate with the North Carolina Community College System to provide workforce training programs.

The hub is expected to start operations in early 2018 and will be a 60,000-square-foot facility in Raleigh. Despite challenges like rising costs and President Trump’s anti-immigration stance, Infosys remains optimistic about its growth prospects.

In addition to creating job opportunities for nearly 500 Americans in the next two years, Infosys plans to hire around 2,000 workers by 2021. This move aligns with the company’s commitment to driving innovation and contributing to the local economy.

Other key players in the industry, such as Nutanix Inc. NTNX, CoStar Group, Inc. CSGP, and CSRA Inc. CSRA, are also expected to see significant growth in the coming years. Infosys’ initiative to open the North Carolina hub underscores its dedication to fostering technological advancements and creating a skilled workforce for the future.
