Nominations Now Open for IBC’s 2024 Innovation Awards

IBC Accepting Nominations for IBC2024 Innovation Awards

IBC, the leading media and entertainment organization, has announced that it is now accepting nominations for its prestigious IBC2024 Innovation Awards. These awards recognize achievements in technological innovation and social impact within the industry.

This year, the awards have been expanded to include five categories: Content Creation, Content Distribution, Content Everywhere, Social Impact, and Environment & Sustainability. The deadline for nominations is midnight (BST) on May 31, 2024, with the winners’ ceremony set to take place on Sunday, Sept. 15 at the RAI Amsterdam.

According to IBC, the Innovation Awards aim to celebrate industry pioneers who are redefining media through technological and social advances. The awards highlight the spirit of cooperation and creative accomplishments that positively impact the businesses involved and the industry as a whole.

Previous winners of the IBC Innovation Awards include projects such as the world’s largest pop-up 5G network for live broadcast contributions and a cloud-native software playout platform for linear content TV channels. The Social Impact Awards have recognized initiatives using Artificial Intelligence for local election news coverage and promoting environmental responsibility through the use of clean electricity.

The IBC2024 Innovation Awards are a key event in the industry calendar, showcasing the best in collaborative efforts to address real-world challenges and make a positive impact on society. Industry professionals are encouraged to submit their nominations and be part of this celebration of innovation and creativity in media and entertainment.
