Nasdaq Hosts Inaugural Financial Technology Client Conference in New York

Nasdaq recently held its first-ever Financial Technology Client Conference in New York on April 10, bringing together over 200 risk, operations, and finance professionals to discuss high-level technology topics such as innovation, cloud transformation, and digitalization. The event also marked the official unveiling of Nasdaq AxiomSL and Nasdaq Calypso, two key businesses acquired from Adenza in November 2023.

Tal Cohen, President of Market Platforms at Nasdaq, expressed his excitement about hosting the conference and engaging with clients to discuss the long-term vision for Nasdaq’s Financial Technology business. The conference kicked off with a fireside chat between Cohen and Nasdaq Chief Strategy Officer Jeremy Skule, highlighting the new Nasdaq Financial Technology division and its role in serving former Adenza clients.

Throughout the day, clients and Nasdaq experts discussed strategic transformation projects, cloud transformation, and new functionalities of Nasdaq’s FinTech solutions. The conference also featured peer groups where firms could share and discuss their business plans, providing valuable input for Nasdaq to expand its offerings and align with market needs.

Sophie Marnhier-Foy, Vice President of Nasdaq Financial Technology, emphasized the importance of the conference as a forum for networking, idea exchange, and introducing the Nasdaq Financial Technology leadership team. Looking ahead, Nasdaq plans to accelerate its cloud, AI, and digitalization initiatives to support clients in navigating an increasingly complex landscape.
