Beijing’s First Private Enterprise Technology Innovation Center Unveiled in Fengtai District
Beijing’s Fengtai district is making waves in the technology and innovation sector with the unveiling of its first private enterprise technology innovation center. This center, spanning 100,000 square meters, is set to provide a platform for private technology enterprises to thrive and contribute to the development of cutting-edge industries.
With a focus on fostering new quality productive forces, the district has already attracted 600 enterprises in fields such as rail transportation, aerospace, and the digital economy. Wang Shaofeng, Party secretary of Fengtai district, emphasized the district’s commitment to serving the capital’s functions and promoting integrated urban-industrial development.
The district’s future and modern industries are key areas of focus, with projects like the satellite internet industry park and the Beigong low-altitude economic industrial park in the pipeline. These initiatives aim to attract partners and establish Fengtai as a hub for commercial aerospace and advanced transportation industries.
One of the district’s flagship projects includes the largest JD home appliance mall in the country, set to offer consumers a comprehensive shopping experience in trendy home appliances, home decor, entertainment, and outdoor sports.
With impressive economic growth figures, including a 6.5 percent increase in regional GDP and a 19.6 percent year-on-year growth in fixed asset investment, Fengtai district is poised for further success in the coming years. The surge in market vitality, with a 32.2 percent year-on-year increase in new market entities, highlights the district’s potential for continued growth and innovation.
