Fintechs Bounce Back: Best Places to Work in 2024
Fintech companies are slowly bouncing back from a tough year in 2023, when layoffs were announced at a number of firms. Despite the challenges, some fintech companies are standing out for their commitment to providing employees with a positive work environment, comprehensive benefits, and open communication.
This year, 40 fintech companies have been recognized on American Banker’s annual list of the Best Places to Work in Fintech. These companies vary in size, with some having fewer than two dozen employees and others boasting hundreds of staff members.
To make the list, companies underwent a rigorous selection process that included a detailed survey on their policies and benefits for employees. The winners stood out for offering perks such as retirement plans and paid time off for volunteering, which were not as common among the fintechs that did not make the cut.
Employees at the winning companies also reported higher levels of satisfaction and engagement compared to those at companies that did not qualify for the ranking. For example, a higher percentage of workers at the winning fintechs expressed confidence in their organization’s leadership and felt that corporate communications were frequent enough.
Overall, the Best Places to Work in Fintech list highlights the companies that are going above and beyond to create a positive and supportive work environment for their employees.
